An alternate reality in a parallel universe.
I had ordered last week boots for the batteries for my CT4410's and CT6850's and CT8810. I inquired if they've yet had a boot for the CT8810 impact and the dealer told me "not yet", fast forward to this week and I step on the truck and he pours out all of these boots from a bag and tells me which ones are which batteries (like I couldn't tell) and he grabs a boot for the CT8810 impact from a drawer and throws it on the pile and says "here's a gift".

So boys and girls who've bought a CT8810 boots are now available to protect your high dollar 3/8" drive LiIon impact wrenches. I'll post pics soon.

Boot for the battery? I thought it was the same battery as the ct7850? Or are you guys talking about a specific color?

Battery boot
CTB7185BOOT -Red

$15.45 ea.

Mine is beat to **** I don't think at this point a boot would do any good.

serves 2 functions, first to protect the tool, second to prevent damage to what ever you're working on should the tool hit it. Doesn't matter so much with these plastic toy impacts but does matter if you're hefting a big boy metal pneumatic tool :)evil:).

damn the 8810 is ****. I still have a 4410 that is in great coondition. dealer offered $250 in trade towards a 8810. Think I'll stick with my 4410 until it dies.
