Just Got a Bosch 12-in 15-Amp Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw for 149 dollars. I was at the Hialeah FL Lowe's store and saw a couple of saws on clearance like there Hitachi and Bosch, you could save 80-150 bucks. I got back home and checked the website. Some how the Bosch 12 -inch miter saw was online for 139 dollars... :shocking: so I ordered it with free pick up and just got it this morning. I was grinning all the way to my car. They fixed the price online when I got home. All though they have a open box one inside for 500 bucks..

im officially giving you my first YOU ****!!!!! thats a hell of a price on a nice saw.my store has it for $799

Thank You sir, it's the second best deal I have ever gotten at Lowe's. The last one was 3 years ago, got a 80 gallon campbell hausfeld compressor 220 volt for 100 bucks on clearance. It involves a lot of going by and checking online..

Is there a way you can scan your recipet? Or rather save the image?

There is no way in hell any Lowe's is going to match that and I cannot believe they gave it to the OP for that price when he showed up to pick it up - the steal of the century! To say that is your 2nd-best score at Lowe's is amazing.

OP, there are not words enough to describe how much you ****. Congrats!

here is the online order, sorry no store receipt. The funny thing is they had a second one in stock, was going to do it again and they fixed the price. Oh well, it still shows in process online but my Credit Card got charged 149.80. Funny thing it never got the email saying it was ready,my Lowe's online purchase said it was ready for pick up, so I went by anyway.

Lowe's *tells* you they'll send an email when your purchase is ready, but I have *never* received one.

Great score!

Yea I kinda figured that, so I went anyway, when I saw the box waiting for me at Customer Service, I was like holly **** I'm gonna get it for real..

That's an AWESOME saw for an INSANE price. You got very lucky.

I'm going to be keeping an eye out at my Lowes, they moved it off the display rack a couple months ago... perhaps it is going non-stock soon :)

My neighbor when I moved in to my house 10 years ago was a carpenter. One day he comes over and asks me if I want a saw. His new saw wasn't working and he was in the middle of and didn't have time to fool with it and had bought a second one, different brand. So he gives me the same Bosch as the OP, albeit an earlier model, free. Needed a new trigger switch which Bosch sent to me N/C.... great saw.

You won  The only things I've gotten from my old neighbor was a couple of 22L rifles and a 9 mm rifles. total of 5 guns, they are still in my safe.

There is no "earlier model" of the DB glide you could see from a picture, you probably had a 5312, 5412, etc. They're okay saws but do not compare to the DB glide :)

My Lowes no longer has the DB glide, I'm guessing I missed it on clearance. :(

I got a free hitachi that was abandoned at a worksite due to the cord being chopped off. I wired in a new cord and its good to go.

BUT I would drop that thing in a heartbeat for the OP's saw at $139

Yeah, the DB glide is a thing of beauty and that's a STEAL.

I've done alright with Lowes in expanding my collection. I haven't used half the stuff I bought. I've bought a couple great deals, not to mention many hundreds in hand tools and small stuff like two Knipex notched bolt cutters

  • Bosch HD19 corded hammer drill for $60, reg $120+ or something
  • 155 2x4 16' for $1.35 a piece delivered (they switched SKUs so for some reason clearanced the old ones, instead of just putting a new SKU label on?)
  • Two Dewalt DWD460s, one for $119, one for $35.
  • Rage Evolution 2 for $70
  • Bosch pocket reciprocating saw for $24
  • A couple days ago, Senco collated screwgun for $45 normally $100. I have one and I LOVE it... two is better than one :)

FFFFFFFUUUUUU, and I thought it was a good deal when I bought mine at $600 including the free stand...WOW.

If you got the T4B stand with it, you should well be very happy with that package price. I'd be elated with that purchase.

Nope, got the GTA3800, which isn't a bad stand at all, but it doesn't rise on its own. On the flip side, it takes up a lot less room and I'm pleased with how stable and bulletproof it is.

That is one hell of a deal, I am actually looking at buying one, my price is $799. Anyone have a coupon that might work to save a little?

Did you try a lumber store rather than a big box? My price was 625 from the contractor dept.

I actually got a pretty decent deal on mine as it included the stand for $650 tax in. I was going to return the stand to Lowe's for an additional $314 off, but I don't know if it'll be useful in the future.

Burger keep the stand, the thing is heavy as hell, 75lbs nothing like my little 10 Delta. Know I need a stand, because my back is going to go out if I keep picking this beast up.:eyecrazy:

Definitely. I paid big bucks to add the T4B to my 5412L which is also a cow to move around. Unless you are never moving it, keep it... it's a great stand.

$699 at Amazon but they're OOS right now.

If you buy it at Lowes, I have a movers code I can PM you - it will let you fill out the mover form and receive a 10% off coupon via email. Combine that with ebates 3%.

I don't think you know what this saw is. There is NOTHING cooler than this saw right now.

Sent by carrier pigeon.

Yeah. It's hard to understand the benefits of the DB glide unless you've played with it. The hinge setup is the way to go, no more saws sliding on linear motion shafts.
