The last time I was at my local harbor freight the metal cutting circular saw caught my eye. It was on clearance for $87.00. Not knowing how good the reviews of it were (and not being able to get a data signal to check) I left it there. I looked it up when I was at home later and the reviews are excellent but the saw is local sales only. My wife had to make a trip that would get her close to the store a few days later so I printed out the webpage so she would know what she was looking for, gave her a 25% off coupon and one of my giftcards and she was off.
When she was checking out, the cashier saw the printout I had given her, did a price adjustment and then took off the coupon. It ended up at $59.99 plus tax.
I had purchased the gift card we used online through a gift card reseller at 14% off face value so really I only paid $54.43 after tax.
