Does anybody have any info on dating Canadian SO boxes. They seem to use different p/n's than the US boxes After searching the web for a week I only found 1 like mine. The back says

Can you post a pic? When was your box made? It should be date stamped. Yea, tracking info down on some of the older canadian version boxes can be a real PITA.

I have a KC 532. I bought it used in 1969 and I believe it was made in 1965 or 1966. It was resprayed a slightly darker red by the previous owner and I have not touched it since. With the drawers out you can see the original red which is lighter and brighter. The drawers are the original mat black.

Do you have pictures of yours? I'm curious.

That's identical to mine top and bottom. I also have the 2 drawer middle section. Having a hard time uploading pictures right now will try again later. I saw lots of USA stuff on collecting snap on.com but no Canadian. Sent an email to SO Canada maybe they can help. Will lye everybody know what I come up with.

This is my box. Found it in the '79 catalog listed as a KC 576. KC 532 top box, KC 605 mid box and KC 556 bottom. The KC 532 and 556 were also in the 1970 catalog with the black drawer fronts like above. The KC 605 middle was not listed in 1970 but was listed in '79, in all red. The inside of the drawers on the top and bottom box are black and the middle is red inside. My guess the top and bottom were purchased early 70's, and the middle box sometime after that.

I remember when you posted those before. Beautiful job on the paint. Those just look like a good size box. IDK, I wonder why SO made different layout boxes for Canada vs USA. I think some of the Canadian vintage boxes are much cooler then their USA counterparts.

Very nice setup.  So, hum, what other boxes do you have to the left? ;)

That's my co-workers box. Beach top and ultra pro bottom. Everybody else in the shop has beach boxes that the company bought them sometime in the 80's
