Saving about $140 doesn't sound too bad. Does it retain the 3-year battery warranty?

From what I have read on other sites, ie cpo tools, reconditioned Milwaukee tools carry only a 1 year warranty and not the five.

Best to email the retailer and also check with Milwaukee.

No doubt a great deal Lord Diesel (love that handle) but almost all of the other deals on this set when purchased new includes a free (3rd) 4ah Lion battery. That plus the extended warranty offers some food for thought. Thanks nonetheless for sharing it.

That's only in Canada i've found. Also, at KMS tools right now. You get the Kit with extra battery and a free 5" milwaukee palm sander for 399. They have it marked at 429, so you have to ask them to drop it 30 beans.

Im obviously missing something here... Someone help me out. The website says it has a 5 year limited warranty. So what is this 1 year only warranty you guys are talking about?

Im guessing it's an inaccurate description for the refurbished tools and only applies to new ones?

If it cost me the 3 year warranty on the batteries I'd probablt pass, at least from my prior experience with Makita. The tools, whatever, I figure anything not wear related and truly defective would go within a year anyway.

I meant impact wrench type. I already have the drills.
