So I believe this is the kit that was in the "swing" area at HD roughly a month ago. At that time it was $99 and was a damn good deal at that I thought. I don't know if it ever came up here but I know it was mentioned on toolguyd at the $99 price. It's been put back w the other M18 kits but I noticed today it was $85.00. Oddly it was not reflected as a yellow price tag but just a normal white price tag.

If you need a decent 18V drill seems like a no-brainer. Of course the *-21 means only one battery but still a good way to step into the M18 platform if you wish.

Shares a lot of visual similarities with the B&D 20 volt lithium ion drill I bought at Lowes the other day for $59. Which, btw is an excellent drill for the money.

No, no, and no. Cannot even begin to say how wrong it is to compare Milwaukee to B&D.

Didn't say compare, I said it shares some "visual similarities".....big difference. Regardless, I'm pretty impressed with this B&D I bought. For my purposes, well worth the money I spent on it. A side by side comparison of the two drills would be interesting.

I saw this today at HD and my google search led me back to the board. Looked the drill was the last one, and it took me 10 minutes of looking to find the two pack of batteries for $79.

I bought the ryobi sets a dew years ago on Black Friday. They might have been $59 with multiple tools and two batteries. I just know that the batteries keep going bad on me. Need to figure out if the M18 is my next set.

I have this cordless drill, and use it pretty much daily. I really like mine. If you can get it for $85, go for it.

I bought a cordless Milwaukee set a few years ago at Home Depot. It came with the drill, impact, case, charger and two batteries. I wanna say it was less than $200. Batteries are still going strong and I use it regularly.

I bought one when they were on the original special at $99. Kinda wish I'd waited, but it's only $14. I do need to get a 4.0ah battery or two. On maybe just get the impact wrench kit I've been eyeing for months now, 2655b-22.

I got in on a deal right when the m18 stuff came out. Got a free angle grinder after rebate and from some confusion on milwaukees part and a properly worded email, they gave me an extra battery. Since then I've added a hammer drill and 1/4 impact. All have seen a pretty good beat down. I used the hammer to drill some 1/2 concrete anchors into place and it did it without even flinching. I was able to chop down all the shrubs along the fence line when I moved into my new place on 2 battery charges with the sawzall and a skil Ugly blade. I wouldnt hesitate to buy another set in the future. I'd actually like to see a deal on the fuel hammer and impact..

you just missed a fuel deal. another member (credit to him) just two days ago spotted what may have been a mis-price of the 2797 set but HD corrected it the next day.
