Today we poured the walls, I'll post more photos when the forms come off. The wall in the back is about 10 ft tall

I know your pain. I have been planning mine for over 14 years and finally got it off the ground this year. The plans took 3 months from start to permit and then there was the demo... I just hope I live through the build to enjoy it...:)

Man, you must be getting old and soft to have to give up laying on the ground in all kinds of weather to do any type of wrenching....LOL

I remember being there myself....

Nice shop; you have demonstrated the need for it.

Jay50- Ok I admit Im going to miss 23 degrees snowing and blowing working outside under the hood or laying on the ground and trying to stay dry.Ill probably just move outside because it wont feel right inside.

The trusses arrived early afternoon, things are getting crowded in the back yard.

66L78- We built it big enough to put the boat in it, but now I'm looking at it and thinking, do I really want that in there? We might put the boat in a storage unit for this winter.

That looks great, congrats, I know just how you feel. I've worked on cars in the dirt, curbside in Philadelphia, in the snow, in other people's barns. boy it's nice to have your own space.
