Liquid Nails as a concrete patch and filler

I talked to an epoxy company today and they said that some of their installers will fill holes, big pits, and cracks with Liquid Nails. They just wait for the dry time on the tube and then cover the whole thing with the epoxy. I asked how long it holds up and they said there never was a problem. Has anyone tried this?

Although, Liquid Nails is some awesome stuff too. Get a glob on a surface and try to clean it up when dried.

It would depend on the area. A larger area would have some flex to it - something that epoxy doesn't tend to deal well with.

Punch out guys in production homes do it all the time on basement slabs before pad and carpet go down. Not sure I would do it in a garage to be epoxy topped.
