I've been waiting almost 3 weeks for this order! I still didn't get my 6 bay charger tho, dammit.

8 1/2 for the new fuel circ with a 4.0 battery.

Old trusty! She made me a lot of money. I won't miss the extra weight. Just over 10 lbs!

The new fuel sawzall is a tank at 9 lbs!!!!

My 36 volt at 8 1/2

The grinder at just over 5 1/2 ( I LOVE THIS TOOL!!!)

All the extras the grinder comes with. I'll never use the guards.

They give you an option for letting the tool breathe. Mesh for extra fine dust???

And the fuel family shot.

I will be taking the new tools to work with me tomorrow. I'm going to BEAT on them to see how tough they are. The skill saw has big shoes to fill replacing my 36 volt dewalt.

I will beat them on the job site for a month. Then i will give a real world review of how they perform.

Them's purdy. Actually, they're ALL a little too purdy. My impact looks like a contractor's been using it for a decade already.

Fedex is bringing the grinder tomorrow. The bank account is a little slim this month, or I would've probably ordered the Sawzall -21 kit while CPO was doing 11% off. Oh well, hopefully I'll be not broke next time they're doing a free battery or tool promo on that one. I think I might be needing another battery and dual voltage charger soon.

Make sure to circle back and let us know how they perform on the job. I'm very interested to see battery life on some of those.

Are you getting the big charger?

That's really more batteries than one guy can use unless you take them on long projects without electricity :p If they're anything like my Bosch's, a few will charge up faster than you can use them. Unfortunately from buying kits, I have a bunch of fat packs and probably 12 slim packs, and I end up using about 2 of them all.

i wouldn't underestimate battery consumption, especially when a battery is thought to have been charged and ready and you end up grabbing batteries off other tools just to get a little more done before the end of the day.

i HATE walking long distance in the plant just to get a battery because the one i had was good until it had torque applied, then drained dead cause it was never charged good enough. i cant imagine how crappy it would be to be miles from the shop/home with dead batteries.

and that was my problem. sometimes im on large demo jobs without power. 9 batteries will keep me working all day.

Holy Milwaukee !!! That's a sweet setup, and they've got the Christmas colors of Red and White !!

Just need a little snow spread around and they'd look like great Santa present. Enjoy !!

36 ah worth of batteries is a whole bunch for one person. Especially if the new grinder and saws do as well on batteries as the drill and impacts do. I get several days of intermttent use out of my impact.

I wouldn't either, I just have a very similar 18v setup with some 4AH Lithiums so I know how long they last :)

As Lord said, he is without power for long periods so it makes sense for him.

Alright, I'm duly impressed already. Just threw a fresh battery and a flap disc on the grinder and took it to a couple rusty plow frames. Only used it for 10 minutes or so, but that would've cooked a battery on my Makita grinder, and it would have been stalling out if I put any pressure to it. I was able to put almost as much pressure as I'd put on a corded one, which isn't a whole lot with a flapper... maybe I'll try a cup brush or something this weekend. Still got 3 bars of battery showing. :D

Not impressed with the circular saw today. Ripped some 2x6 into 2x4 and the battery kept overheating and shutting off the saw. It made it through one 8 footer with no problem. Then half way through the next one it took a ****. It was a brand new fully charged battery. Maybe it needs a few charges to get it up to par? I put another one in and it took a dump too after 5 minutes of work.

Had to pull out the old 36 volt to finish the job. Was pretty embarrassed having to use an old beat to **** saw from 08, when i have a nice red one sitting there.

Would it not be more easier or allowed by your local code to run a generator ?

Heavy tools like sawzalls, and saws......I can only prefer a corded one.
I used to run a Milwaukee Super Sawzall....picked up a Hilti 1500. That thing is the mutha of all sawzalls..

I have one and use it sometimes. When there are other trades on the site, that's when problems occur. Work safe comes in and can shut the job down pretty quick. They have so many rules and red tape, it makes your head spin. They nailed my buddy with a HUGE fine for running a generator within 20 feet of an open window. They also hit him again for the gauge of wire coming out of it, stating it was a fire hazard.

Have you had a chance to give the sawzall a workout yet? I'd like to know it's got enough *** and runtime over the M12 hackzall to be worth owning both. I like the hackzall enough, but battery life blows and if I use it hard, it gets hot enough I wonder if I'm gonna melt the windings.

The grinder did good this weekend. Seems like it'll go about 15-20 minutes balls to the walls. Which makes sense, 4ah pack divided by a typical 13-15a for a grindern minus a little for the lower voltage. Should work great for weld prep or cutting a couple things, which is what I bought it to do.
