I wonder if the red paint will match my lower units that I purchased 18 months ago? I guess I'll have to check it out.

^They have two types of paint, texture flat-sheen (old) or semi-gloss non-texture (current). They switch to new current paint couple years ago.

I just ordered 2 of the 7 drawer units for $169.99 each, shipping was 6.99 total, let's see if they show up. I live 15 miles from HF and would pay more in gas to pick them up than the $6.99 shipping.

I have a bunch of their storage already, it is fine for the non-professional or anyone that does'nt need the SO name and don't I give a rat's *** about color matching for the different shades of red.

I'll sit them on 6x6's in corners, they're great storage.

I may put one in the kitchen for all the knives. No, I'm not married, so I can get away with that.

Finally after 3 years it's on sale. I could use 2 of them, one on my red cart and one on my 44"er but figures I won't have any money before the coupon expires. Maybe now they will go on sale a couple times a year. That would be nice.

I think they would make great end tables and put some lamps on em. I have a friend who is not married and he has the coolest kitchen clock....it's a Miller Time beer clock.

what do you put in the end cabinets? i use my small drawers on the 44 for torx, allen, ratchet wrench, crows foot, stubbys.... specialty stuff. all the other tools i have 15 of each so it requires the large drawers.
if i could use them properly, id probably buy a couple myself.

I plan on getting one this week. Will mount it on a caster platform and roll it under my drill press table (straddling the base). Keep all my bits, hole cutters, etc. handy.

Same here, mounting it on a plate, connected to the base of the drill press...might put my Kreg jig on top.
