I really hate to pass this on as it would create more members eager to complete their set with the 10 and 31 whenever the come available. I missed it 3x so far!
Tis the Season...Merry Christmas

THIS IS A LOCAL DEAL ONLY...check your website for local stores participating in this event. I came across these while ordering my Cordless light thanks to you guys!

The store is OOS but they offered a shipping option to the store which I gladly accepted. I would purchase for members in need BUT I think shipping such a large item in original packaging would kill the deal.

Check my store ZIPCODE

11755

BEST OF LUCK

I'm not sure how to check a local sears store's participation? When I go to the website it shows the usual $49.99, and entering your zipcode above doesn't change that? :dunno:

You have to click on the "Weekly and Local Ads" tab right under the search bar. Enter your location and then browse the tool department.

The local ad is great for a lot of 50% off deals on stuff that doesn't go on sale often. A lot of times once you add it to your cart the price decreases further as well!

Thanks for the tip-- I never would have noticed it otherwise. (Leave it to Sears' website.)

No deal where I'm at either, sigh.

Probably be better to put "Local Deal only" in the title next time a local deal pops.
That way people know it's YMMV.

This is not available for me.

I was hoping either these or the re-branded Knipex goes on sale in the next few weeks.

Not avail at any of the local stores here (San Diego).. But I did find some of the standard ones; 12, 31, and 36 for sale at various locations, all about 1/2 off... I wonder if my main local one will match other local store sales..? Or better yet, 11755 prices!

I have tried to get Sears employees to match local ad deals with no avail. They were willing to do a transfer sale, where they sell it to me and I have to go to that store to pick it up. Doesn't do much good, but YMMV.

Also, the prices that end with a 4 indicate that they are local ad, store specific deals.

My Sears Hometown store told me that they can match either the online price, or "full" stores. They said it was a perk that only the Hometown Sears get to use, and that it only works one way (the "full " Sears stores can't match the Hometown's prices). I've gotten them to price match a store 40 miles away (my Hometown store is only 2) twice. If you have one of those near you, might be an option. Even if those prices are store specific, the Hometown can still price match it, and it doesn't only apply to in stock items either. This conversation took place with the all 3 of the girls who run the store present as they were stocking for Black Friday (which the Manager said was the only time they were not allowed to use the price match policy concerning other Sears stores).

That is great & good to know. What is a "Hometown Store" b/c in the past the 4 local Sears I go to will not match each other's prices. These store are all located in a mall.

It will label the store as a homewtown version in the store locator. Here, the first one is located in a shopping center, the second is located in a mall. Hometown versions are much smaller:
