What kind of racing ? If it's circle track you also need a baseball bat for rolling bashed in fenders away from the tires and settling disagreements in the pits.. :lol_hitti

Very nice, absolutely complete!

Be advised, I'm my experience it is not necessarily the tools that you carry, it's the spare parts.

Very nice, I am used to much of those tools for drag racing. We have a 1,000 pound IBM disk drive cabinet on its side with snap on tool cabinets inside. It has room for lots and a vise on top. A beast to get in and out of the trailer.

With your snap-on box please for your sanity rig up something to tie it down in the trailer. Those boxes get heavier than you can imagine, and they become projectiles easily with the nice casters they have. I helped salvage a trailer a few years ago that was in a crash. Everything in the trailer that was not securely tied down beat the heck out of the car, and it broke the hooks on 4" wide tie down straps (the car tie downs). The damage was extensive and more than we could believe initially.

Ours is tied to the trailer with two steel rods with helicopter pins (quick release) on both ends as well as two 4" wide tie down straps. Never budges and no worries about it beating up the car.

Just out of curiosity why 2 different brands of cordless I would think keeping the same would make batteries more useful

But I don't know a lot about snap on or IR cordless maybe one brand didn't make everything you needed

When I was racing I had a set of tools for the trailer that were separate from the regular tools in the shop/garage. That way we always had the full complement of whatever we needed at the track, and never had to remember to put something back in one toolbox or the other.

There are few things more aggravating than to need something at the track that you know you have back at the shop. Ergo, the separate tools and boxes for the trailer.

Our tools were Craftsman, not Snap-On, though. :)

Securing this beast is definitely very important. I like the setup you guys are doing with quick release, if you have any pics, please share.

The IR w7150 is a beast, and I do like IR air/power tools. I felt the CT8810 was a better 3/8 that the IR offering.

Either works.

Don't tell your sponsor, but I can't find his web site !

You need his URL somewhere on the car !!

Logos is only requirement for sponsors. To be honest I have never seen anyone in SCCA using URLs.

So are all those SAE sizes for working on the trailer or does the aftermarket still use a lot of fractional fasteners?

Nice setup! What you guys doing for setup/alignment gear? Is this just sprint racing so no pit gear needed?

Much nicer than what our desert racing team has in our race trailer! We tend to lose a lot of tools, so the Snap On tools are few and far between........even in the shop.

Well it's safe to say that your tool box (empty) is worth more than my IT7 car, and with tools worth more than my IT7 and brother's ITS car combined! Nice!

Here's something that every ARCA and NASCAR pit box has for their wrenches. You always need multiples of the same size. The wrench holders take up too much space. I had a friend build a smaller version for my box in my kart trailer.
