Been dreaming about this for years and it is almost done. Here are some pics I took during construction. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I'm going to pass out!

How are you going to climate control that cavern?

Thanks guys. It truly is a dream that I didn't think would ever happen.

God has blessed us and I still check every morning to see if it's still in the backyard.

Here's one with one of my trucks "in" the building to see if I was going to have room.

My wife and I own a septic tank cleaning company that we purchased 3 years ago from my parents. My dad still helps me a bunch. We have two of these trucks which are almost identical, just 9 years apart. The building will also house our motorhome and trailer used for kart racing. I have electric hook up, water and sewer where it will be parked.

Congratulations on your big awesome build. I just had my septic tank drained two days ago. I could have given you the business, but then I guess it is a bit of a drive from OH to TN :) It is nice that you will have space for your hobbies as well as your business. I also like your shop:house square footage ratio!

The RaceDeck bill is gonna kill you! LOL

That is one serious shed. Congratulations. I can't even imagine what the slab, alone would cost up here. $100K easy!

Thanks for the compliments.

Anyone know why I'm not receiving notices when a new post is made? I have my settings set to that settings.

Very nice ! As stated, keep the pictures coming. I especially would like to see a lot of details on the radiant heating system.

Is there insulation below or just a vapor barrier ?

Related to that, what type of cement mix did you use for the floor ?

It was 96 yards of concrete. Wire mesh is used to hold the 5/8" tubing on 18" centers.

We race Birel karts. I think I'm hanging up my helmet so I can concentrate solely on our daughter. She is moving up to Juniors.

Final grading and seeding around he building will be in the spring.

From memory, the concrete mix was 5 1/2 bag gravel and poured 5+ inches thick. I'm going to epoxy coat the floor.

Miller Brothers Construction built my building and are finishing the interior. I purchased my doors locally. They are r-17 and 16w x 14'h. I'd be happy to give you $ amounts in a private message.

Where are you located bosty2 ?

Beauty! Tell us about the perma-columns. Those come up from time to time in the pole barn post rot debates. Not many folks seem to use them, I'm guessing due to the expense but not sure.

Beautiful build! Great size, I wish I could build that here but been if I didn't have a barn I couldn't go that big on my 8 acres. I don't think I could fill that up!

I have to ask though as my used food haulers have the same trucks, colors and all. Why do you guys always have the cleanest, nicest trucks of anyone? The business of **** must be pretty lucrative :D

Thanks for the compliments. Actually I do have a beautiful wife and daughter.

For clarification, I'm not posting these pics to brag or show off. God deserves all the credit for what you see. My family has been very blessed and I am very thankful.

As for are trucks, We have always tried to keep are trucks as clean and nice as possible. They are our calling cards and we feel it shows the level of our work.
