any chance you can make one out of wood? maybe somebody has a nice plan and materials would be inline with the budget. check for free plan online?? you sound pretty handy and it would be brand new.

otherwise I'd tell you to check Craigslist or your online version over there? when I was younger and we didn't have craiglist so garage sales were our best option.

best of luck and i'll check back with the thread to see if there are any other ideas or what you decide to do.

Haha yeah true, I will admit though you don't half get the best deals on tools over the pond apart from snap on tool boxes my boss just bought a classic 78 for 1500 new of the truck? Also I was thinking more like the harbor freight trolleys? But I doubt I'll find one in my budget

I had one of those for a bit. I found it to be too short for me and just generally a little too small. Might be good to scoot under a counter or where space is limited.

I like the look of these:http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hms-bl06043500

NAPA had them on sale for just under three bills for quite a while. Both carts are made by Homak, or at least branded as such. I am assuming if one style is available, to you, the other will be as well.

Do you know anyone here that can bring you a HF one back when they visit? Overweight is cheaper than shipping. I visited some family in Scotland back in July and I packed 100lbs worth of tools my uncle wanted and brought it over for less the $100 US

They probably have some chinese rebranded cart in your price range locally. Only problem is they aren't made to carry a ton of weight. You might actually want a non-drawered "plastic" (poly?) utility cart if you can find one. The industrial ones can carry a decent amount of weight (the hf ones state 500 lbs) might get more bang for the buck out of that compared to a similar rated steel cart for double the price. You'll look like a janitor though. If you still want steel the lower end (low weight) stuff is rebranded by a company called torin, they probably exist in europe or otherwise just look on the uk version of amazon for brands and check other retailers.

keep looking on ebay and gumtree for the blue point carts. i picked a red one up early this year for 120ppund buy it now on ebay and sold it later this year for 100 when i found a decent box to work out of.

they do come up just search newly listed, used condition and buy it now only. or take your chance on bidding on one.

sealey make one similar to the one posted, they;re quite flimsy, the same with the us general ones sold on ebay.

i also wish there was a uk harbor freight as id have a 44 inch top and bottom and a cart sitting in my garage.

also check on machinemart.

Get that red hf cart
I AM in NO way a fan of most hf stuff but I got the black cart as a gift w one complaint that the red one solves.
The black cart has screwdriver holes in top tray but any mid size screw driver has too long of a handle to close lid the red one is deeper .
These carts are so well built they are as strong as most truck brands def one thing hf got rite on the second try
