Trying to get opinions on weather or not I should keep my asphalt garage floor or rip it up and pour new concrete

Never seen that.
Asphalt is a good surface for parking cars. It is not particularly suited for shop flooring.
If the asphalt is problematic or if you have more ambitious plans for the space then it may be time to replace it with concrete.
Of course, it is not that simple. You need to factor the cost of the improvement and it's effect, if any, on property values, the length of time you plan on being in the home, and the benefits you are expecting. Upgrading to concrete may or may not be a bad business investment but you also need to factor in the intangibles. If concrete makes the space more adaptable to your purposes and expectations then that alone my justify the expense.
