I've been using two 12mm wrenches to do driveshaft bolts on Fords for far too long.

Will the swivel part on a 12pt 12mm 3/8" drive impact clear the driveshaft?

I have found one by matco on eBay for $20, just want to make sure it will work before I order.

I really want the snap on tool specifically for this, but I'm having a hard time trying to find it on the website.

I have the MATCO that's 3/8 drive that I've used with my 1/2 impact for the last 6 years and it hasn't not fit one yet.

The special 12 point 12mm headbolt socket used in Kia and Hyundia engines gets used for this application too.

Problem with those Snap Ons is no flex.
I know on some Ford Dshafts you cannot get a straight shot at the bolt, you need a flex to get the angle.

guessing when they are on a life you get more exposure to the bolt head due to rear axle droop.

I just ran into this problem, Lowes sells a 12 point half inch drive socket for 4 dollars, works great. No more sore hands from the wrench!
