Does anyone have the book, "Antique and Collectible Stanley Tools: Guide to Identity and Value" ?

Looking for information relating to an item that I have from my grandfather's garage. He used to work for Stanley in New Britain, CT after WWII. The museum said to look for this book, second edition, that covers advertisements as it may be from the 1930s. None of my local libraries carry the book. Hoping someone here might have one or have access to the book to look up the item for me.

Thanks!

I have that book, and I've looked thru the advertising section a few times and can't find that piece. It does look similar to some other ones and he is called "Happy Carpenter". Maybe someone else will have it and be able to find it. Maybe just the name will help with an internet search.

I found two other books about Stanley "Early 20th Century Stanley Tools," a price guide by Jack P. Wood, and "Stanley Woodworking Tools-The Finest Years" by Walter Jacob. Neither mention the "piece" that you have posted. I must say, I am not an expert, and have never played one on TV, so my information is worth what you payed for it.

I have that same book, but it's the 1st edition with the brown, as opposed to the cream coloured cover. Unfortunately there is no advertising section in the 1st edition.
