Rather obscure model as i couldn't find anything about it.

6" x 1 1/2" jaws with good larger cross hatching 4 some fine gription. Opens 10", total 27 1/2" long, 10" diameter base not including bolt hole tabs. Weighs in at 165 lbs. I guess the parker "no.1" wrench is for a 1 1/16" swivel base lock down nut. Anyone got one?

How old would this clamper be?
thanks 4 looking.

sorry I don't know that much about Parker's even though I own the slightly little brother to yours. I did see that it looks like yours is a swivel jaw and I couldn't see the pin or even the hole in the pictures.

nice find big guy and the jaws look great on that one

Awesome find! Not super familiar with Parkers, though it's obviously pre-Union Mfg. Happy to see it found a good home.

Here's an ad from 1901 showing a Parker 275, but it shows a fixed base?

Jaws available at a trifling cost!!!

To translate "trifling" into a language that someone who breathes that rarefied Colorado air can comprehend...

Trifling= El Cheapo...

Looses something in the translation, doesn't it???

Or as my British wife says---"Pay for it, it's a mere trifle..."

Oldie: you need to learn how to speak fluent "Metal" before you can start trying to teach Mr. Scott "Old English". :beer:
