Ok guys. Here's my first thoughts and impressions.

So I've been needing more storage space for a while now. (Hey, don't we all) and being tax season I set out on a quest to get more storage. I shade a 44" stack with the bottom being the all beloved us general. Which was great, but I out grew it.

I was going to with the stack from home depot that ran $300 for top and bottom. But after reviews quickly ruled that out. So now what? Starr searching Craigslist for a good used boxed.

After a week I was giving up hope. So I expanded outside of my normal search area. And there it was. Like new condition, a year old or so maybe. The guy was asking $450, and so I texted him. He said he could hold it till I got my taxes back. But to unsure I got it, I offered him my Yugo sks that was in horrible shape, but has seen better days.

Anyways, he agrees to the trade. Then I start the 2 hour trip to his door step and holy shiz batman. Huge! (Compared to what I had) and looks like he just bought it that morning. It took four of us.to load it into my suv. (94 s10 blazer, yes, it fit, but just barely.)

On the way home I felt like I just won the Indy 500. Then the next day I start looking for a top, since I still had some tax money. Harbor freight had it for $399.99. After calling three stores I find one in stock, and make the 1.5 hour trip one way to get it.

Perfect match as far as trim goes to matching the bottom box. But sadly seems the shape is out of square, although not by much. And it doesn't sit inside the bottom box lip like you think it would. Plus theres a small gap between the top and bottom. But for $428 or so you won't find a better box new for the money.

Overall thoughts, best bang for the buck I think you can find for the size new. 799 for the bottokn and 399 for the top. I myself like the side latches on each drawer. Although I wish the lid on the top box was deeper. But being 5'10", it is actually perfect as is. In these boxes you'll get drawer liners with it, although you may have to cut them to install. Mine came in rolls off the shelf. Me being just a weekend warrior, this box should last me a lifetime, or until I run out of space again. Lol.

Well, I think that covers the basics. Quality, awesome. Price. Awesome. Drawer layout, awesome. (For me the big deep drawer on the roller on the bottom right will be used to hold automotive fluids to keep on hand. Gallon jugs.)
Just a great box all around. That I'm very happy I have. Especially going from 16" deep drawers to 19.75~ usable drawer space. Thanks for reading! Any questions just ask.

I'm surprised anybody would be willing to hold a CL deal for you - those things sell within minutes around here (Seattle). Well done!

Actually I've had good luck on stuff like that. Had a car held for 3 weeks till I could come get it
. No money down.

What's even more surprising is he had it listed for for 2 weeks prior before I contacted him.
