Looks like a good 1/4" air ratchet for the price. I've had my eyes on it for a while but couldn't find any reviews on it..

They're noisy and the direction selector is strange but you'll get used to it quickly and that air rat is way stronger than it looks. I've heard the selectors can break off if you're not nice to it tho. Either way, good tool, worth more than it costs.

I have been using mine for the last several days, and it has been fine. I think I preferred the form factor of my Matco one, but it didn't last a year of shop use. The .Florida one costs 1/3 as much, and seems like it has the potential to last even longer. This is my 3rd 1/4" ratchet, the first two spread at the head until they couldn't be tightened up anymore. I figured there was no point in putting big bucks in them since they didn't last, so gave a cheaper one a try. This one is far quieter too. I liked it fine before, then realized the power regulator existed and was only turned up halfway. Like it even better now.:bounce:

I got this in my inbox and was surprised to see the price and product being sold as a Florida Pneumatic rebrand.

The OEM is Shinano Pneumatic Tools in Japan. They've been providing OEM services to some tool truck brands, namely MAC, for many years.

This model is a limited re-run.

Ah, the video got me. I had gotten the email the other day but was going to pass. The one handed direction change is pretty slick though. Thanks for the video.

I had a 3/8" like this. Tried to sell it here but I think I eventually put it on eBay. They're ok, although I think it attempts to fix what ain't broken, and the reversing mechanism necessitates more weight and bulk.

For me tho I so rarely use air ratchets anymore.....

I always seem to be the unlucky one that hits the back of the ratchet somehow and manage to change the direction in mid stream. I think this might solve my problem.

Glad that video was posted. Really glad I ordered it now!

What do you guys mainly use air ratchets for? I have an IR 3/8 air ratchet and maybe used it twice...found it too weak and too bulky.

I'm hoping it avoids or at least pushes back the carpal tunnel surgery.

I bought one today. I almost got one a few months back and hesitated. Good to be able to get it at this price.

Is it showing "Free Shipping" even though the order total is less than $75 for anyone else?

Of course... but there's the chance they notice this is a "mistake" and add $7 to the order. That's my concern.

Mine showed up today and I'm impressed, especially for the price. All the parts are well machined and tight and it operates smooth as silk. Granted this is my first air ratchet and im sure folks who use them daily can find flaws, but I personally like everything about it. I've used several air ratchets before, but none long enough to form an opinion on them.

Thanks OP.

Same here! I'm really impressed with this little ratchet. What's even more impressive is all my pop up ads I'm getting from searching this. Sears advertises it for $99. Makes me feel good about this purchase.

Used mines a few times today for the first time. Gotta say its a nice ratchet for $40. Still have to see how long it last but just from a few times use, its quiet, has plenty of power and the fwd & reverse levers are cool. It is a tad bit big but not too bad

Mine arrived today as well. Any tips for accessories? Do you guys run swivels or lightweight hose whips since its only a 1/4 ratchet to improve maneuverability?
