Need coat rack or coat hook ideas for my garage

I am tired of throwing my coats on the workbench etc. in my garage. I have a few ideas to make a garage themed coat rack but does anyone else have unique ideas for my project? The photos are some of the ideas that I have seen and like. At Menard's last weekend I found cheap claw hammers on sale for $3 but they only had two left.

For my mud room i used a piece of composite decking. Routed the edges and put on four coat hooks.

They used to sell curved box end wrenches. I forgot what they were used for.

Distributor hold down wrenches.

I built mine out of an old BBC roller cam with a bad lobe,Painted it and striped it up!

Thanks for bringing up an interesting idea. Above from Google searches of various "........... coat-rack" like "tool themed" "shop themed" "garage themed" "automotive themed" etc.

A couple of them occurred to me while searching. like an engine valve coat-rack and an intake/exhaust manifold coat-rack.

Maybe get 4-5 old brake shoes. Make them like a C only laid on their back. Paint-em up, orange for chevy,blue for ford ect.
A couple of drums on each end laid flat for hat racks.

One I've welded up for some friends is made from 3/8" long slices of 1-1/2" or 2" angle iron welded to some flat bar like |v and mounted to a piece of maple, which I would probably skip in a garage. A little more flare than just nails or welding some rod to flat, but still much cheaper than buying hammers, valves, or forged hooks. Of course if you don't have a welder...

Well there are a lot of ideas here. I have to say that I am amazed at what everyone came up with. The attached photos are ones I plan to look into as far as cost. I like others also but some might become more expensive than I planned on originally.

This week I added a coat hook to my kids workbench. I was happy with how it turned out and the kids really liked it. I took a few pictures also.

That looks cool (the hammer idea) but something I'd never do. I just stick robe hooks on the wall when I find them on clearance. Though admittedly hammers would hold a bunch more (per hammer head) than those stupid hooks but it's not like I've got that much to hang on them.
