This is the start. I don't have any pics of before the dirt work but he moved lots of dirt to make the pad. He took seven feet off one side and added it to the other. This pic is the view of the pond. I should tell you that this project started may of 2012 and is still under construction. It's a 60x80 building with a 40x60 building off the side. The 40x60 is my house and wife's garage. The 60x80 is going to be split up and have a shop, a man cave and storage.

I paid for the building to be put up but I did most everything else myself with the help of my dad and friends. Here is the start of the septic system. Not very good pics but the only pics I have. My mom took the pics when she came out.

Well when we were working on the septic the guys were setting the big trusses with a crane.
e6uvavu9.jpg

They were also moving them around with the lull when this happened
pyzava6u.jpg
a9u9yty7.jpg

The guy in the lull tried to jump out then back in when he couldn't get out of the way. It landed on his ankle and pinned him under it. We had to use the backhoe and skid steer to lift it off of him. He broke his ankle but he got lucky that was all that happened

We tried to pull the lull over with the back hoe but the hill is to steep
qu4ytany.jpg

So they called a tow truck
dame5yva.jpg

He had to hook the front of the truck to a tree to keep him up on the hill but he got it turned back over
aqevysez.jpg

Three trusses, some broken wall boards, two pulls, and a busted up lull later we called it A day and drank beer

Then we moved in that was around ten months. I had to put the shop on hold because I ran out of money. Fast forward to oct of 2013 and I started to get half of the big shop ready for concrete.

Then the cold came and I didn't get my concrete poured. So this is how it sits waiting for the cold to go away so the frost will go out of the ground. I hope you all enjoyed my journey of my dream build. I wil try and keep everything up to date now that I started this tread. Thanks

Very impressive. Are you happy with the hydronic heating system and foam insulation? This winter has been a good test for them.

I really hope you will keep us posted, I really like where this is going I'm following.
Very nice RV BTW  (you got some pics of that)
You never see one of those here in the Netherlands, just love these things.
I'm dreaming of owning an RV one day but it will be (a whole lot) smaller :)
