I'm interested. Earlier today I was looking at a small Norseman left hand set. A quality set for extracting broken fasteners would be nice. Would such a set also be an option?

Please look at the shipping costs when price shopping as well. This is where some of these deals fall apart.

Hopefully there will be more interest to make it worthwhile for all involved.

Keep an eye on eBay auctions from the seller "ghteoeg". Someone posted a while back about him and he always has Norseman stuff.

I picked up two 29pc jobber sets last year for $55/each from him.

Magnum™ Vs. Cobalt

The Magnum™ drills will substantially outperform cobalt drills in work hardening stainless steel applications. This performance advantage is the result of construction differences between the two types of drills. Cobalt drills, manufactured to Type J NAS 907 specs, have a very thick web. This web is necessary to limit breakage of the brittle cobalt steel. Magnum drills are made of special hi-moly tool steel, which is much tougher than cobalt steel. The web on a Magnum drill can be thinned considerably due to the toughness of the steel. (See Illustration A)

A Magnum drill with its thin web will penetrate the work hardening stainless fast enough to continually cut beneath the chip which is hardening from deformation. This means the drill is cutting softer steel.

The cobalt drill, with its thick web, cannot be fed at a fast enough rate to cut beneath the area which is hardening. As a result the cobalt drill is continually drilling into hardened steel.

Norseman makes the ultimate shop bits. They can take abuse and still cut a good hole like no other bit set can. I have had a fractional set in the superdex plastic case in my field service box for 5 years now and they get used hard and still cut well. Get a set and never look back.

Just a suggestion when setting up a group buy:

Choose a handful of the most "popular" items, and set up a poll for everyone to vote on their top 2-3 choices out of that larger pool of choices.

Let that run for a given amount of time, then take that data, crunch some numbers on potential discounts and final prices, determined by the number of participants. Obviously, the discounts can be greater with more people involved.

Just my $0.02. I've set up group buys in the past for the products I sell, and this method seems to have worked the best.

The pdf catalogs have no indication of pricing. And most of the links blow up, including the one that says "price list". Also, no indication of discounting or shipping costs.

Not enough information to even throw my cards in.

Norseman part numbers are usually 5 digit numbers. That j115 number is an HE internal part number I think. The PDF catalog at the bottom of the norseman page takes a while to download but it will have the specs on all their sets.

That set is #43550 the J-115 is listed as the size in the Norseman pricing catalog. IE: J-115 is Jobber length 115 piece set.

I may be interested in the following depending on price.

Just to get back to those inquiring about a full 115 piece set. Jobber length is available in 115 piece or 3 individual sets for less than $5 more according to online pricing from norseman dealers. Screw length is available in 3 separate sets only making up the 115 pieces in total. I currently have a 115 cobalt set and will be getting 3 separate sets to make it easier to handle them. If I decide that I want a a huot 115 index, then I can get this:

There sight is down, But if the price is right I would be in for 2qt 115pc jobber sets. They are expensive and they would have to be a killer deal to afford them. A left hand set would be nice.
