Bought an old Proto tool I have not seen before.

Proto 2307. A little digging tells me this is a radiator hose tool. I thought it was neat enough to share.

I've got one. You're right, it's for hoses. They are pretty cool. Mine's got the pick end broken. Since the tool is discontinued I resharpened it.

Thought it looked kind of interesting. I certainly wasn't thinking radiator hose when I looked at it but now I see it. One end is like the radiator picks made today, with a flat point. The oval shoe horn end reminded me of an old Snap On exhaust pipe separator that wedges in between two exhaust pipes.

I thought it was a long since discontinued tool. Too bad though, Proto made a lot of interesting tools over the years.
