I have the Mac version at almost twice the price. Great guns; in fact I think they are the best. Weight distribution is the best part.

Wish I would have seen this first.

I've got one. Got it on sale from Trident. The trigger is different on the Proto from the Mac version. Great Impact!!!:thumbup: I didn't think anything would make leave my IR2135QTIMAX in a drawer but, I like the Proto impact. The center of gravity/handle position make it a natural extension of my arm/hand. The reverse lever behind the trigger takes some getting used to but, it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Not US Made though, hencho en Taiwan.

Hmm...should have beat on your MAC guy a little more...I've been quoted a few bucks more more then the Amazon price for the MAC version.

If its anything like my cornwell impact that looks near identical you will not be dissapointed. My coworkers with 2135timax impacts use mine on a semi regular basis on stuff they can't bust loose.

I think its exclusive to Mac and proto not an air cat. FWIW the Mac flyer that starts in a couple days has that 1/2 impact with a set of Mac 1/2 drive shallow impact sockets 10-24 for $399 with trade in. That trade in is usually negotiable but also they will take a 9$ **** impact as a trade doesn't have to be something good.

That is not a terrible price, the socket set alone is over $200 it's the Mac USA hard line impacts.

I love it. The balance is awesome. I can extend my arm with it all day and it remains comfortable. It's insanely powerful. A 1 second burst can blow 1 ton suspension parts off no problem.
