Reminds me of when I saw a guy towing his golf clubs in a pull cart on his motorcycle, I thought to myself, your not getting too far like that, then 1/2 mile up the road I see his buddy with the wheels off his pull cart. Some people just have no common sense.
I wonder what MPH the casters are rated for? Hahaha.
Some of the older brutes were designed to be towed at a moderate speed. I don't think that was one of them though

Trailers are $15 per day. Might be a little more. You can put a light hitch on the care and rent a trailer. I have done it for years.
Now for the real part. Moving anything this way is illegal. It is down right dangerous. It is stupid, ignorant and only a dolt would try it.

It reminds me of all the way people move things on bicycles around the world. Asians move some huge loads on bikes or scooters.

I would imagine he just got fired, or more likely just stormed out of his job and had to take all his stuff with him.

The width of the license plate suggest that this is was photographed in a foreign county -- they may not have trailers for rent or roll-off readily available as we do in the USA.

My guess is he had it out with his employer and was removed from the premises and thought this solution was better than leaving a box by a road. Bad idea, but I don't know anyone who hasn't done something stupid in the heat of the moment at one point or another.

I have to move my box next week to the new shop. It's about an hour away so I will report back if my Matco casters hold up better.
And just to think I was going to hire someone with a drop deck trailer, but this way looks easier and cheaper.

What employer wouldn't just let him keep the box there for a day or for a couple of hours. I guess if he was a big enough *** and threw a fit or something but as an employer I would still give him a couple of,hours to go rent a truck to get his box.
He may have been splitting from a room mate thief or crazy X or something. More desperate than an employer.
If it was me and I had to leave my box at an employers where they're was a problem I would at least empty the tools into my car. Perhaps take all the drawers and stack them in the trunk.
