Craftsman 250pc Mechanics Set USA made on sale

My local sears had several of this set made in USA. All other mechanic's sets were imported. Not too shabby for last of USA Craftsman
On sale for $169.88
(used $15 coupon code 9817104063375473 and $20 in points for future purchase)

It happens. Just means the set has been sitting in a warehouse since before the switch to a Chinese factory was made.

Was $136 ($116 after promo discount code) around BF 2013.

I remember people saying that it's the last of the USA-made stock back then.

Yes, the Houston store I visited had several USA left. My dad picked up the same set in Oklahoma, and it was USA too. Makes me think it's last of USA before being replaced by another model because it says "clearance" on the sears website. Same thing happened with the 299 piece set and it was replaced by the 309 chinese set

I'll also add that both the 348pc and 283pc sets are on great sales right now, and it seems as though some coupons are working with them. Both should be USA-made as well.

I grabbed one of these during bf2013, all made in usa. must be the last few ones in stock at my local sears that time. can't beat them for the price.

What Houston store had them still USA? I travel to Houston for work and wouldn't mind picking up a set. No stores are me in Dallas have these in USA anymore.

What coupon codes are you guys using to get the price down so far on this? I tried the code listed in the original post and it tells me that it has expired. The best I've found that works is one that takes $5 off an order of $50 or more.

I threw my case away last month after having this set since 2008. I custom fit my trays to my toolbox with my circular saw.

It always seems to be hit or miss with Sears coupon codes. Maybe I just got lucky, and they changed the codes applicable to that item now

Yes, you can even have the same page up on two different computers and have two different prices. If you purchase online and do store pickup if it turns out to be chinese you dont even have to return it, the scanner they use has a refused by customer option.
