I fell in love with the old fashioned T-handle spinners when I first saw them on this site.
These you linked to are a more modern version, but not as pretty :)

I have been eyeing those in the Snap-On catalog...I really like the look of those! I first noticed them when I was at the motogp in Cali and watched the mechanics using only those for turn down and build up.

Do these guys make them for Blue Point?

If so, they are more expensive. The 3/8" drive through SO is $53.95 and direct is $59.95.

Anybody have a testamonial on these?

I have a 1/4 in hex (insert bit) T-handle on the way from PB Swiss. I'll post some pics and impressions when I get it.

I have found out these are also sold under the label VIM Tools.

For a more attractive price, check out tooltopia under part numbers VIMTT250,VIMTT375,VIMTT500. I just got the VIMTT375 and LOVE it.

I'm not sure VIM labels the 1/4" hex drive equivalent to Blue Point TH10TURBO.

I would like to the more unique variations (extended, hex) for a better price than shown here. If anyone has a source, let me know.

I have always been a fan of T-handles and bought the Turbo-T's as soon as they came out. For any Harley techs or people that do their own service the Turbo-T works great for adjusting the clutch. The handle has enough heft to seat well before you back it off. Highly recomended.

Here are some of mine including one I made myself.

Interested to LEARN from other general purpose mechanics..............if having a 3/8" drive T-handle, like the one from Pit Posse is truly a handy tool.........or just another unused toy in the box.

I am not a specialty motorcycle, etc mechanic..........

Do some occasionally use a more conventional sliding T-handle with extension for same purpose???

Thanks for the education.

T-Handles seem to be very popular with Bike mechanics, I don't see them as much in the car world. Not to say they wouldn't be handy. They're pretty quick to spin stuff on and off.

Not sure I have the Pit Posse ones and have been perfectly happy with them.

The Difference I see is that the More expensive ones have the color that you can hold while the T-handle spins within that. The cheaper ones spin directly against your flesh. I have the cheaper ones. They don't ****.

If doing repetitive things like engine assembly. They make it easier/faster for oil pan & timing cover bolts. General uses like that are great.

Still wanting to know WHY Pit Posse product for $23.00 is inferior to double/tripple the money VIM/Snap On

I've never seen the Pit Posse but I have seen the VIM. They have bearings in the handle & are very smooth. The quality on them is good.

I agree with daveblank, see post #9 in this thread. Very nice quality, comfortable and enjoyable to just, very fast with the bearing handle.

I'm looking to get more variations liek I said in post #9.
