It says valid on clearance and sale items too. Maybe you can stack a coupon. Who knows. uploadfromtaptalk1407087555702.jpg

Thank you, should come in handy as I've got some points to burn. Do you know if you need a promo code or coupon? I can't read the fine print on this screen.

I doubt the points rewards will work if you use points for the purchase as it would need to be qualified spending, meaning cash actually put out. If someone wants to try it, I'd like to know. The 10% off you can see immediately, but if you opt for the points back, you won't know until 8/12, at which time you will have lost out on the 10% off if it doesn't.

So the way I read it, if I spend $100 this evening, on 8/12 I will have $20 in SYWR points? And I don't have to use any coupons or anything on my purchase this evening?

That's correct. There should be an option to let you choose. I know if you purchase in store, the cashier scans the appropriate barcode.

It will show you how many points you will earn before you submit the order.

I think you can use all points you currently have to buy something as long as you pay 1.00 or more in real money. It may be a penny or more.

For me, a percentage bonus is usually calculated on my cash/credit card part of the payment.

$49.99 purchase price.
$48.99 in points redeemed as payment.
$1 + tax paid with cash or credit card.

$1 x 10% bonus points coupon = $0.10 in points earned.

Not for me. I get percent off total

Unless you are a VIP (silver/gold/platinum) then it is all day

I am VIP silver, and when I add a tool to the cart it tells me I get the normal 720 points which is not the 20%? Shouldn't it tell me I am getting like $20 back in points, since my overall purchase amount is about $100?

As with everything sears.com the sale that just started it totally f'ed up.

Items show one price on the screen, add to cart they change price, and no where does it show you get the 20% back in points.

Chat and all they say is we are having website difficulties.

Starts at 6 Saturday for online.

A lot of stuff in my cart went down 10% but no where does it show I can pay full price and get 20% back.

Maybe Obama got Sears people to do Healthcare.gov

You select that at checkout.

I was eyeing an item that was on sale online. Chatted with rep and he said price would not change once event started. Sure enough, price went up and is now higher. Bait and switch... crooks!

I had my eye on a couple items as well, and planned on using SAVE15,, on the final payment screen is where you specify if you want the instant savings or the points, either choice, it removes the SAVE15 so I wasn't able to stack which makes the price higher than if I had bought it earlier in the day.

All the items I had picked out this morning are still showing the same price.

The extra points option is working, but the discount option does nothing even if I click on the "Review Order" button.

I know that "Hot Buy" items are excluded, so you won't see any F&F options for those at checkout.

Trying to buy the two premium ratchets and it comes out to 2 dollars more than if I woulda bought them this morning. Mine is automatically is taking off the discount when it shows you the price, even before you add it I the cart.

No, the healthcare.gov site works MUCH better than the Sears websites. However, I do think perhaps he has been consulting with Sears in forming the nation's foreign policy as well as domestic affairs policy strategies. I really like my free wrench I got today though, so some brownie points are deserved here! - Paul

What a joke! I had 2 items in my cart this afternoon, mulling over a purchase; went outside and did some work around the yard and came back in now and found that their "sale" actually raised my total about $14..

WTF sears? Do they really think people are this stupid or what?

Yep the "sale" increased what I was looking at this morning too. Dead blow hammer 3 pack. It went up about 7 bucks.

Yeah, I posted about this Sears constantly changing price thing a couple months back here ang got rebuked for it but it is real. Their cookies track what you do, If you want something at a "normal" price to start with you have to go there and buy it in one trip without going there leaving the page and coming back later on or the cookies know you are interested in the item and it will raise the items price on you and usually a deal killer for me. Annoying.

One thing you can also do is put in your "watchlist" anything you might ever consider wanting and let them sit there. When you find something to buy, you can then "add" those to a cart at the same time as other stuff for a ready made order to get to a certain cart price level or whatever so their SYWR coupons will kick in. Be sure also to log into your SYWR site and load coupons before buying anything and also log into your Craftsman account and see deals there too. It is all very annoying and not worth most people's time. Sears should have one log in, not change prices on people, and give them the credits/coupons they claim they are able to receive (that's another thing - I can't actually get credit for some of the ones they say I get). BUT, they still sell some USA made stuff of high quality if you look hard. Don't trust reviews though as many of those are made back when an item was USA and it may or may not still be. - Paul
