painting black asphalt not black :)

Ok, so a few years a ago I sealed my driveway black, and then painted using a concoction of things a (sandy colour (BUFF)) walkway.

Problem is salt has kinda done its job, its cracked and I wanna do it agin, this time hopefully properly or at least better,

I'll try and get a pic up tonight... so, I was thinking of either

1> Just painting the black bit, black
2> separatly painting the existing buff coloured walkway, using a mixture of (buff coloured concrete mix powder, cement, an epoxy cement (thats what I call it, its like a white sticky glue

or

1> paint the whole drive black
2> as above

any ideas?

A coating of 100% acrylic porch paint will also work.

Got the Epoxysheild, tinted sandlewood, so on my todo list !
