After seeing the wrenches Ryan posted about on the main page for the Alliance give away, I tried to find some more information about them as I had never seen them before. I still couldn't find much information, but I did find this video that shows the various options and shows the ratcheting mechanism. The wrench bodies themselves remind me of the Genius ratcheting wrenches. Overall, I'm not a big Gearwrench guy, but these wrenches look really nice.

Great. I want to get the SAE. So, now that GW is working with ALLIANCE, does that mean we will get any discounts?

I did not see them on the vendor list.....

Somebody said it on the other thread, but I wish you could get the box end wrenches in something other than Manute Bol lengths...

I'm not a huge fan of spline drive tools. I would worry that they would ruin a good day fixing cars. But that might just be my own ignorance not having a set. But fundamentally, I want tools designed to remove specific types of fasteners. Universal tools almost always disappoint me.

I generally agree, but my Proto spline wrenches are awesome and fit fasteners better than a conventional 6 or 12pt tool.

Actually spline is a tighter fit than a 12 point socket/wrench for example grab a 10mm hex socket and slide wrench on and you will see that spline is better than 12 point on a 6 point fastner at least
