Just picked this one up locally for $50, a 4.5" Parker Trojan 705. Haven't weighed it yet, but I'd say a bit less than my Starrett 4.5". Size wise, the two are almost identical. AFAIK, the Trojan line came before the mainstream Parker line with the removable collars? Is it grey or ductile iron, as I seem to recall early Parkers were cast in their Meriden foundry with grey iron before changing foundries and material.
Overall pretty stout, will be getting the dip in the etank then stripped and painted. Action is pretty solid, no slop. Probably holds wood in like no tomorrow!
