Long time fan of the site, first time posting my own thread. Mostly I have just been lurking checking out the numerous bad *** garages on here.

So after almost 4 years of home ownership, I have finally gotten around to my garage. Nothing like a little procrastination..

Nothing special but a decent 2 car 20 x 20 in size.

Here is how it all started the day we got the keys. All this **** left by the previous owners.

Bear with me while I post the transformation

So the night we moved in, I cleaned up all his junk. Removed the shelves off the walls and threw a fresh coat of kilz on the walls to clean it up.

I moved a bunch of stuff in there, added a few free standing shelves to hold my junk, and parked my cars in there..

Said cars..

Then.. boom, I decided it was time.. Since the beginning I have had this drawing my wife made and some color samples I had chosen and hung on the wall in 2010 that had my basic plans for the space.

Ordered some custom flake for the floors, once those arrived, I began the epoxy process.. clean, dry, etch, clean, dry, paint, flake, dry, clear, dry..wait wait wait.. etc..

After a couple days it looked great. Even manage to preserve a mosquito.. *******

In the mean time while paint was drying, I spent many hours assembling my new Gladiator cabinets. It was an exhausting process. But I got them all done and once the floors had dried, I moved them in..

Purchased some more wall organizing stuff, and tried to find a place for most things.

I think it worked out well, and may add more in the near future. I have the space above the tool chest open, that ill probably get the gladiator cabinets to match, but I have time to decide. So that is it.. from concept to finish.

Hope you enjoyed my little project. :hellobye:

Yeah i wanted something that was unique, and not the colors that came with the kit from the store.. i ordered them here and opted for the smaller flakes so it was a lot easier to spread and looks great

budman,

Great job on your garage! I like it all, from the paint, floor, flakes, cabinets, and of course your sweet BMW rides! Oh, and that's a sweet water heater!

P.S. nice job getting that mosquito (be was a fatty..). :)

Thanks man.. It's nice to have the room done. At least 90% of way done.. still a few more things I want to do, just wont be anytime soon.

I did swap out the lightbulb in the garage door for a new Phillips flat LED, 800 Lumens, puts out a lot of light for one bulb.
