Some models had the 1st Pat'D # only 1,777,76 and some models like mine had a second set of Pat'D #'s 2,003,346 (A Pat'D Date of 1935) for a longer handle model.

I would call the one with only the 1st Pat'D # the 1st Generation 1916 up to 1935. and my best guess anything after 1935 to be a second Generation Wrench.

Bull thanks I found that old ratchet under a pile of old tools and I had to save it from any future rust for the next generation to enjoy.

Just wait for my next post, I am gathering some more information for the next ratchet, only it was made in 1976, having trouble finding if the company is still in business.:)
