Looking back it was a fun when I bought this old set of Blue point wrenches; but I did know how sick the seller was at the time. I had bought many tools from him in the past but this was to be the very last tool purchase because he died a short time later from cancer.

The set dates back to the 1930's sit back and enjoy the pictures.

Back in the day, Snap-on was only sockets and Blue Point was the wrench brand. Somewhere around 1950, the same wrenches made from the same forging dies became Snap-on branded.

I've got a set of combination wrenches from an old working mechanic. The larger ones are all Blue Point, but as the 1/2"-7/16"-3/8" got used hard, they were replaced by Snap-on. Those smaller than 3/8" were seldom used and are still Blue Point
