This is one of our verified vendors on Garage Forum.

I ordered the system hinges on line through the link on the vendor forum page. Because I am a paid member I received a ten percent discount (so far I'm more than $1000 ahead on my membership here).

The order went through correctly and easily.
Lester, owner and inventor, called me the next day because my order went in late in the day, he missed sending it out not only same day, but same hour! I told him to calm down, I had waited six months to order them and that same hour shipping wasn't needed. The parts went out at 9am on my 5pm order and were here in two days.

Lester called again, seven days later to see how the installation went and if all was well.

I was going to do a gigantic write up with 8x10 color glossies with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one; but there is no need.

The box came with eight individually different hinges clearly marked r1 through r4 and matching left hinges. Nothing to say about the installation except you take four screws out and replace the hinge and put the same four screws back in...and you do it eight times on a five panel door.

I installed the eight hinges in about twenty minutes, shook the door, and nothing had changed. Same gap, same rattle.
I ran the door up, then back down...NO GAP, NO RATTLE!, a perfect tension against the door side seals. Exactly what I wanted. No moaning, no aligning...just magically my door seals for the first time since 1996.

I can't be more eloquent than;
Arrived too quickly
well packaged
installed in moments
fixed a vexxing problem correctly and permanently.

An update;
30ish mph winds right now.

I once rattled that door with a sneeze to see if it would rattle. It did.
It hangs perfectly...just away from the seal.

Green hinges in place...no rattle at 30mph directly on to the door. west door. Winds from east minus 20`.

How big was your door, and how expensive were the hinges? Will the extra drag cause a door opener problem?

The hinges appear to have adapted as cycles increased.
They made themselves almost perfect on the first open and close cycle. I have about 60 cycles on them now and they seem to 'set' when the door hits full bottom and squashes my bottom seal. When the seal crushes the hinges seem to hunker down and force the door against the side seals.

I have steel rollers. Between these hinges holding tension and a liftmaster 8500...when I switch to nylon rollers it should be almost silent when working.
