Well its coming along slowly but yesterday I started wiring my receptacles in garage. I wired the drops from the 240V / 120V lines above. I didn't realize how painful this would be, standing on a ladder stripping 15 wires adding a loop for each ground and installing 5 wire nut onto #10 wire. So yesterday I completed all the combination 240/120V drops except for 1 where I need help from my wife to identify neutral wires across the garage partition. Today I will finish up the other side, 8 more drops which will only require 2 wire 240V terminations.

The challenge to this scheme is to identify 5 white neutral wires and clearly mark the associated pairs. I tried using some greys neutrals in the past but the inspector rejected that.

Completed all rough wiring today with exception of garage door openers. Still waiting got door motor mounts before I can complete the doors. I ended up running ~ 1500' or #10 THHN.

Altogether this shop consumed ~ 1500'of #10 THHN

Just passed rough inspection. The inspector was very happy with my conduit bending, marking of wires and conduit tie down. I'm unfortunately short 3 240 receptacles because I had them inadvertently shipped to my old home in CT. Nice to have plugs covered and garage doors that open.
