Hello people,
I just purchased a Craftsman Utility Sharpener (21174)
I think its a good value, its not a bench grinder at all but its wet feature and slow speed makes it perfect for grinding chisels or irons that have been damaged by hitting a fastener such a screw.
I prefer to put my 25 degree with this thing and then hone it with sandpaper in top of a piece of counter top that i use as a flat surface, 400g then 800g then 1000g. After Im done with that I do a 30 degree micro bevel of about 1/16" width using only sand paper as described above. Wet of course.
its now $54 at their own website, and for $59 you get free shipping.
