Has anyone had success lately using a HF 20% or 25% off coupon at HD? I am in the market for a new cordless drill and am leaning toward the Ridgid mainly because of the LSA that provides free replacement batteries. they have a Drill/Driver Impact set that also comes with a radio for $199. With 20% off that's $159 which I don't think is too bad. I have been reading accounts lately saying Home Depot is clamping down on this policy.
I bought a Ridgid R4512 table saw in March 2012 using a HF 20% off coupon. When I asked the guy if they would take the coupon he hedged a little saying the match policy is for the same product and since HF doesn't carry Ridgid they couldn't honor the coupon. I told him I had read several accounts online of people using the coupon on that exact saw and he pretty quickly reversed course and said "sure, no problem".
