well been a long time lurker here and finally decided to join and post up. here is something me and my father have been working on for about a year and its pretty much done. im quite proud. enjoy

specs:
16x24
384sq ft
10ft walls
15ft to the peak
full electric
8in concrete slab
10klb mohawk lift
80gal compressor, tools etc
tv and permanent sound system shortly

Nice. I'm doing a very similar build...18x24 with a 9'6" ceiling. I'm going to install a 4 post lift once I finish my Corvette. I like what you did with the lights. What about heat? My buddy gave me a 1 year old 5,000 watt Dayton heater, so I'm going electric for now. My buddy switched to a propane unit, as he uses his shop on a regular basis during the winter and the electric bill was killer.

Your dimensions seem optimal. I want to do what you did. I have been mulling over dimensions. But I think Seattle only allows 12 feet high to peak.

Thank guys. For heat you can see our little 40k btu propane heateriin the last pic. The pavers we a huge pain though but they came out great

Just curious, why the narrow dimensions? It looks like you have alot of land. Barely enough room to walk around the lift. It seems well done though.

Nice build! Love the paver driveway and the 85 IROC. Any chance you are on thirdgen.org? I'm a new third gen owner as of last year. 1992Z28 with a newly rebuilt 350 on board but looking to do an LS1 swap.

rustoleoum epoxy from home depot was used, came at a good price so far so good, we also bought some flakes off ebay and went to town. we went with the size we did due to regulations from the town. i dont know the exact details but we wouldve like to go larger.

the pavers are Rinox brand and are super heavy and awkward to lay in comparison to normal pavers.

i am on TGO 86iroct5 is my handle. ive had her a little more than a year, 5 speed, RHS Heads, CC503 comp Cam, Holley Stealth Ram, 350ci, t-top. 3.73 gears, eaton posi, moser axles, tubular LCA with relo brackets, adjustable PHB, belltech sway bars, SLP headers, borla XR1 no cats, hurst short throw.

Nice Garage - you've made the most out of a small space.
What are you using for the bay lights? I like how you have them mounted - do you find it a better way to light the workspace, or was it more due to the trusses for the lift?

thanks! its a bit more cluttered now since its been a year but we are still finding creative ways to store things and make the most of space

the lights are actually out of a car dealership show room that went from fluorescent to LED and we took the old fluorescents. we mounted them like that at for convince and maximizing space. they light the area very well even when working directly under the lights. I think it helps cast the light better under the car as well when its on the lift.
