I picked up some of the $40 Costco LED fixtures and saw some posts previously asking for comparison photos.

For consistency, these were taken with a DSLR in full-manual, same shutter speed, same ISO setting and aperture. In other words, there is no camera trickery to enhance the new lights or degrade the old light.

Comparing a single fluorescent fixture, a 23w and a 32w [?] compared to four Costco LEDs.

I posted in another thread, these fixtures are night and day over the T12 fixtures that came with the house. It's like I installed the daystar in my 2 car garage now, love them!

Your test is the first I've seen that uses the correct camera setting. Well done.

Do you have a part number or description of the fixtures? I recently upgraded to T8 6500K from old T12's and what a difference. When I looked into LED fixtures they were $$$$$.

There is an ongoing thread here on the lights. $40/fixture, I'll seek out more info later on.

Costco item number is 858582 I believe. 3700 lumens, 38 watts and $39.99.

They are 39.99 or so in the store. Picked mine up at the local Costco, call your store, they should have them. The light is fine for garage work.
