Good morning Garage Journal, the time has come to replace my old jump starter that is no longer holding a charge. This is an old lead acid one that has lasted me about 4 years. I have owned one of these for as long as I can remember and the battery ends up dying every 5 years or so. I found a few of these with good reviews on amazon, any recommendations ? I would like to spend a little extra something that will last a while. Replaceable battery would be great and I will also be using this to power a tablet so bigger capacity is preferred.

I have the NOCO GB30. It's a very nice unit and you can tell by holding it. It's not cheap plastic stuff like majority of the ones on the market. One thing that stands out is the clamps. It's heavier duty than most other clamps where others rely on plastic to handle the clamping load. Eventually they'll fail at the joint. I like the safety features built-in too.
