Auto Scissor Lift For Motorcycles/ATV too?

Been interested in getting a motorcycle lift. Also the one I'm looking at has the ability to attach side panels to be wider for ATV's/Riding Lawn Mower too.

Anyways due to the extreme limited space of a small single car garage, and the fact I'm not expanding anytime just yet, I was thinking of trying to be multi-purpose. Has anyone ever fabricated up their own top that they can easily put on/off on a regular automotive scissor lift that you could then lift motorcycles/atvs/lawn mowers when you wanted? Yet easily be able to use for the purpose of a car when needed too?

I have never done it, but I have seen plain old 4x4s used on lifts of all kinds to get things into the air.
Weight would be the concern.
Most MCs, LMs, or ATVs would be lighter than a auto rated max weight.

For my lawn tractor I just put a couple of 2x10s across the platforms.

For the motorcycle it's easy to just raise one platform. My bike has a center stand which makes it easy.
