That is a good deal, I bought some on amazon (not that cheaply) a while back and they are nice pliers.

Picked up mine at the store on Sunday. The child working the counter went to get it and as he was walking back, I heard him mutter, "Huh, I never heard of that brand before." Sigh.

The way it's going, someday soon another child may be saying "Sears? I never heard of that store. Something from the past?"

Ya know what I'm with you on that cause not only does management not understand a thing about customer service or at least the one in montclair,ca but probably the majority of them as well. Their website is terrible go to check in store stock and will say zero go to the store next day and find 3-4 of the item just siting there. To the point were its like why even bother just take a drive down there and find out.

Once you start using Knipex, you don't want to use anything else. Also, once you start using the Comfort Grip handles, you don't ever want to go back to dipped handles. I've got a drawer full of Channellock, but I'm always reaching for Knipex.

Thanks- it is still underway; I am waiting on a nameplate and I need to get the eye guards, tool rests, and light back on. I did, however, put on my new wheels and get them spinning the other night. :)

I saw the 8" and 10" cutters on sale at my local Sears yesterday. I picked up the 10" (last one) since I have a smaller USA CMan ~7" cutter w/comfort handle that has been performing great for a handful of years. It was $7 off for the 10"...hard to beat that, it will get used for sure.
