PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT AND RULES FOR THE GROUP BUY. ALL OTHER POSTS RELATING TO OR FOR THIS OFFER ARE NOT VALID.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS PROMOTION IS FOR GARAGE JOURNAL USERS ONLY. YOU MUST PROVIDE US WITH YOUR USER NAME. ALL USER NAMES WILL BE VERIFIED BEFORE BEING PLACED IN THE TOP 20.

Hello to all of you that have expressed interest in the "Ultimate Garage Lift". The much anticipated MaxJax group buy will be made available to Garage Journal members only Sunday February 15, 2009. The special group buy offer will be made to those residing in the United States and Canada. This offer will be one of a kind and is being listed on Garage Journal only. Those located in Hawaii, Alaska and Canada are welcome to sign up, but additional shipping fees will apply.

This is how the group buy will work...

  • A special MaxJax group buy website will be made available for interested group buyers to visit and sign up.
  • First come, first serve – the first 20 interested buyers that sign up and "submit" their order will be awarded the special price of $1500.00 delivered.
  • The official sign-up will begin at EXACTLY 3:00PM, Pacific Time, Sunday February 15, 2009.
  • The website address will be - www.maxjaxusa.com/groupbuy
  • User Name…MaxJaxGB
  • Password…GBMaxPass
  • The group buy will continue until 20 buyers are confirmed.
  • Only one MaxJax per buyer.

Please mark your calendars and/or earmark this post. In the future, other group buy offers may be made available but not at this introductory price. Why are we giving this fine product away at such an incredible price? - Because the MaxJax is a new product and we can't imagine a better way to reach the masses quicker than through the fan-base of Garage Journal and their influence on DIY'ers and their passion for quality tools and equipment.

Good luck.

What's this "Canada" you speak of? Nothing outside the US matters. Thanks for the great deal!

That is the country to the North that took all our draft dodgers in the 1960's... Now, I wish that they would extend an invitation to all our illegal immigrants...

Did you read the OP Tatra? The first think I noticed was that it said "US and CANADA" got the good rate, just some extra shipping. Sounds fair to me.

Thanks once again to Jeff of BendPak for recognizing the Garage Journal and it's members. I'll extend that thanks to Danmar for the offer. Jeff is the kind of buisness person I wish I could deal with on every major purchase I've ever made. Extra attention. Attention to detail. Fairness. More than that - going above and beyond.
Cheers!

Ditto -- Jeff has been more than fair, and kept all of us in the loop with regard to availability and pricing. What else is there to do.

Will we be able to buy optional features like the Power Station instead of the Mobile Power Cart?

Also how long are the hoses?

Thanks.

I noticed in the pictures with the Corvette that it looks like you are lifting it with out using jacking pucks, just the pads on the arms. Is this correct or do you have a special pad that goes in the slots on the frame???

Thanks

As soon as 20 spots fill up, the form closes and displays the user names who are getting the group buy promotion. So you'll know right away if you're unable to make it on the list.

We don't take down any payment information other than your method of payment.

How much if I come pick it up?

Ray

Unfortunately, we don't offer any more discounts with this promotion for will call.

Hoses are 13 feet long. You will be able to purchase the Optional Power Unit Station instead of the mobile cart. Pricing will be announced soon.

We used the standard lift pads that come with the lift, but you're welcome to use Corvette Jack Lift pads like the ones here... http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf_id=42076&dept_id=1095

I've done some good searching but, I can't find the concrete PSI that is needed. I know I've seen the information somewhere. Do any of you have the answer ?

Also, stated that we only need 4", what is the modern (post 1970's) garage floor thickness and PSI ?

Thanks,
Kevin

3000 psi concrete that is 4" thick is what's required. I'd guess the concrete vary from region to region based on code/climate/etc. My garage has 4500 psi concrete and is 4" thick..built 2002.

I'll second 38Chevy's comment! Hopefully I can get in on the 20, but based on the response here, they could probably sell alot more! At the $2000 price point, I'd have to rethink the comparison with a 4 post.

I would have to agree as well. I will try and get in on the 20, but if not I will most likely not be purchasing in this economy. I understand the need to limit the sale, but something like a one - three day purchase window would allow all that a truly interested to get in on the deal, and not result in anyone getting frustrated.

All good coments... And why delay two months, other than build up the hype? Best of luck to those who can get one...H

Hey guys, knowing Jeff,, and the guys at BendPak, I'd bet with such a great response, they will probably offer another sale or group buy or discount. You can't blame them for limiting it to 20 right off the bat. They have to get them in stock,, and then get them shipped out. Imagine,, if they left it wide open,, it would be forever before you'd see yours show up. These are good people to deal with,, and Jeff is a straight up guy. There first shipment is probably these 20 units,, and they are going to get them out there, take care of everybody you got them. Make sure everybody is happy,,, and then,, before you know it, you'll have yours!!
I love my SP-7X,,, but if i would have known then,, that this little jewel was coming... i probably would have got 1 instead.
