I am working on an all cast iron, 9" Craftsman drill press, that is 23" tall. Would like to know what time period, this Craftsman logo decal was used. --- John

it's a Heritage Craftsman badge and without looking at my catalogs i'd say late 40's to very early 60's or late 50's.

here's a better picture of the badge on my Craftsman table saw

Thanks for the info. I kind of thought that sometime in the 50s era, would be about right. Even as small as it is, it looks just like much larger machines of the same time period.

I am making some engineering changes on it, as it never had a motor mounted directly on the machine itself, as well as some other modifications. --- John

Okay does anyone know the date of this reverse heritage logo? I haven’t done any research yet but the common heritage logo is red background with blue letters. This is on a roller chest, top and bottom have the same logo.
