I just started a Yahoo Group for the Hall-Toledo Model EJ Eccentric Valve Seat Grinder. I have 7 PDF type manuals for this machine that I took the time to scrub and clean to make them like new more important readable. These manuals go back as far as the 1940's and a few from the mid to late 1950's and some from the 1980's. I also found some wire tag type cards that were more than likely fastened to it when it was new, those have been scanned to a PDF format as well. These documents are provided free of charge.

Regards,
Jack

I have one of these...bought it new back in the early 70's...far and away the best seat tool out there...being a machinist one understands what they are about..I still use mine often...stones are getting hard to find but I had a pretty good assortment. I would be interested in selling it...would hate to see it go the junk man when I pass...

While I'm awaiting membership in the yahoo group, I'd like to pose a question to the group. I have a model EJ Hall-Toledo that I purchased last year on Ebay. Just went to use it on a special job and found out the field windings are shorted. Does anybody know of a shop that can/will rewind this motor? I'm in So Cal but am willing to mail it to a reliable shop. Having trouble finding a shop local to me. Thanks folks.

I am brand new to the group and as of today the proud owner of a vintage Hall Toledo EJ valve seat grinder. It looks like I am in good company here.
