I've seen the stick led lights and was just curious as to what you all use for when you're working on your car.

Totally agree, I use mine everyday. I have 2 both made by Coast. One is rechargeable which I like but doesn't last long.+1.
My headlamp is probably the best tool I have bought in the past 5 years.

I use strategically placed candles or a whale oil lamp whilst looking for leaks on the Stanley Steamer. Mike
Alright I'm going to give this one a shot, I'll do a writeup once I get it.Capri tools lithium LED light.. Best $40 u can spend.

They also make a UV version too.. Check youtube for videos on these.. I'm serious - this thing is great..
I was looking at that snap on one just now. Is it magnetic?
I have a Bayco 26 watt Flourescent that works just fine. I would like an inexpensive cordless one though.
I just got this a few months ago. Very great light. Light distribution is bright, defined, and even. Has hooks on both ends and a magnetic holder too. I use in under the hood, under the car, inside the interior, and sometimes take it with me when I go out to the yard at night. This light uses SMD LEDs having a wide and true white pattern instead of those regular LEDs having a focused and not as white pattern. Highly recommend this light.Capri tools lithium LED light..
