So been lurking here for quite a long time -- finally had the time and energy to get my **** cracking on my garage. House was built in 1970's and previous owner was an idiot who obviously didn't care about the garage as you can see from the before pics: (linked thumbs - click for high res oh imgur site, click again to make pic huge

Did the lip of the garage with a 4.5" hand grinder diamond wheel from home depot -- it was pretty smooth and quick to be honest, removed 40 years worth of **** fast! (there were a few spots I slipped and dug into the concrete making a little 1/2 moon shape, but no worries.
Then laid down two coats of Legacy Industrial Dark Grey floor primer, then a layer of their urathane clear with Shark Grip mixed in. Everything went smooth and easy, floor cured nicely. Grip is amazing, although I will say I wish I had NOT followed the instructions and used an entire bottle per 1 gallon of clear. It's great grip, but I would have preferred about 50% of the coverage I have now grip wise. No way to go back now, I gotta use the remaining gallon of clear when I prime the main floor.
Topped things off with some Kobalt cabinets and the lip is 100% done
Installed all new flush mount ballasts, ran a nice T8 two foot light above the washer/dryer when I don't need insane amounts of ligth (love the 6500k color)
Kinda pissed because even though it's only 1.5 years old, my Whirlpool washer apparently took a dump from being moved a whole 3 feet. Damn thing won't actually spin up, or fill up, or anything. I thought maybe all that concrete dust still got into it (it was wrapped up in painters plastic) Even after cleaning, and running though the technical service manual, I think I'm boned. Not looking forward to calling Whirlpool. ugh. Anyone in the dallas/fort worth area got a hookup for washer diagnosis and repair?
Plan wise - I need to break out the hand grinder and do the edges of the main floor, then rent the big grinder from home depot to finish up. Will be laying a single layer of industrial legacy primer down, then my epoxy-coat, then a final layer of legacy urathane clear coat (with what i think is already too much shark grip in it lol)
Will update in hopefully a week or so. Random question -- am I supposed to put any caulk between the floor and the (newly installed) baseboards? I caulked the upper part, but don't know if I should put a white or grey caulk on the bottom to seal everything up 100%. Ideas?
