I am looking to buy several ERNST Mfg. wrench racks and wanted to know if you guys had any leads on the best way to buy these at a discount. I went to there site and put a bunch of stuff in my cart and almost chocked when I looked at the total at there regular on line prices.
Anyone bought there products at a discount?

These are the guys I've bought all mine from.
CBM

They only charge shipping on the first item.

They are local to me, but they wont let me pick my items up which kind of *****.

One item I ordered turned out to be back ordered and took a few weeks to arrive. That was upsetting since the auction did not say it was back ordered. They made good on it by giving me some free stuff though.

I'm also in the market for some wrench racks from Ernst as well. The best I've been able to find is from this ebay store.

These guys are the ****! Shipping was incredible fast all the way across the country! Ordered from them last week. Got some of the Ersnt Socket rails, and they are very nice. I am using them for holding my impact sockets.

Summit Racing carries quite a few of these, the most recent catalog I received made note of 20% on tools thru February. I didn't check but I think that would apply to these racks. Summits price on the 5090 rack is the same as that of the Ebay vendor, their shipping cost is more for a single piece, but if you were ordering several and used the 20% discount they are cheaper.

Ernst at Summit

I went back and recorded every part number that IHOP offers and thier price and then recorded the price at Summit. If you figure in the 20% discount Summit is offering, all but four tools are less at Summit.

Here is what I found,

Part # IHOP Summit
5010 $7.15 $6.95
5011 $7.15 $6.95
5013 $5.95 $5.95
5020 $5.15 $3.95
5021 $5.15 $3.95
5076 $4.50 $5.95
5077 $5.00 $5.95
5084 $4.95 $4.95
5086 $5.95 $5.95
5087 $5.95 $5.95
5088 $6.15 $5.95
5089 $6.15 $5.95
5090 $3.95 $3.95
5115 $6.50 $5.95
6010 $5.50 $6.95
6012 $5.50 $4.95
6014 $9.95 $8.95
6015 $9.95 $8.95
7040 $4.95 $4.95
8300 $6.90 $6.95
8302 $6.90 $6.95
8305 $5.95 $6.95
8320 $28.00 $42.95
6010M $9.95 $12.95
6011M $9.95 $12.95
6012M $10.95 $9.95
6013M $10.95 $9.95
6014M $18.95 $16.95
6015M $16.95 $16.95

Thanks for the help with the Summit source 66HertzClone!! They stock most of the part numbers I need.
Is there a code for the 20% tool discount I'll need to use to place the order? I couldn't find it easily on there web site.
Thanks in advance for the help.

The catalog indicated that the discount would appear at check out. Maybe call Customer Service and see what they have to say.

I called Summit Customer service and they said they would take my order and apply the 20% discount right over the phone even though it was supposed to be only for people who received there catalog. The discount definitely made them the best prices for the items they stock even though the shipping was slightly more.
Great lead, thanks for saving me some money I can spend on more tools!!!
